Geovation Scotland are currently recruiting for Cohort 8 of their Accelerator Programme. This bespoke 12-month programme is specifically designed to support early-stage tech start-ups innovating across land, property and location sectors.

With more than 20 years of experience in multidisciplinary marine research and over 35 global expeditions, Heather Stewart has spent years exploring the deepest, most mysterious trenches on Earth. As Director of Kelpie Geoscience, she leads ambitious, cross-disciplinary work that expands our understanding of the ocean, from our coasts to the abyssal and hadal zones. She's completed crewed submersible dives to those depths, and recently, alongside legendary submersible pilot Kate Wawatai, became a member of the deepest diving all-female submersible team. In this 10-minute spotlight, Heather will share her journey, the work Kelpie Geoscience is doing, and what it's like to go where few humans ever have.
